Jeffery Koo completed pastry school when he was eighteen. He then joined the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Hong Kong as a trainee in the hotel's Pastry Department. From there, Jeffery went to apprentice under Pierre Gagnaire. Jeffery received the Best Taste Award at the World Chocolate Master competition in 2007. Currently he is the Executive Chocolatier at Vero, Hong Kong.
