Prima 10 automatic tempering machine is the smallest automatic continuous tempering machine that can accommodate an enrobing belt.

The PRIMA 10 is designed for confectioners and Chocolatiers who work in small batches and whose production is measured in hundreds of kilo per week, not per day, and is the smallest continuous tempering machine on the market that can accommodates a full size enrobing belt. 

The Prima 10 tempering machine produces tempered chocolate continuously by de-crystallizing and recrystallizing the chocolate as it moves melted chocolate from the tank to the auger to the dispensing pipe. Chocolate in the PRIMA is melted with a thermal induction heating system that assures precision and re-activity, and the tempering process is accomplished by moving de-crystallized chocolate though an auger driven gas cooling system, granting short working times and accuracy in holding temperature. FBM pioneered this technology on the Artisan tempering machines and have been producing equipment with this capability since 1977. Many machines are operating worldwide.

Standard configuration for the PRIMA 10 includes: a removable vibrating table, automatic reversing tempering auger with speed controller, removable tempering auger for easier cleaning, a pedal operated electronic depositor with user selectable time and repetitions (up to 9) for filling molds and other uses, and incorporates a night cycle.
