Krea Swiss Melters
All stainless steel chocolate melters from KREA Swiss, formerly Krebs, will gently melt and maintain the temperature of your chocolate and are the only melters in their class to measure the actual chocolate temperature. Available in two sizes: 6 kg and 20 kg, Krea Swiss melters utilize direct and air based induction heating that is applied from below as well as each of the four sides of the pan. This heat distribution approach warms the chocolate much faster and more efficiently than an induction heating plate resulting in faster chocolate melting and more even heat distribution.
Krea Swiss chocolate melters incorporate a temperature sensor located "in the chocolate" rather than just the air void below so you can be sure of far more accurate temperature readings. With digital temperature control, built-in handles to easily lift the pan, plus an energy efficient design equates, Krea Swiss melters are well suited for all kitchen applications. They have an extended temperature range of 20°C - 60°C (68°F - 140°F) so foods other than chocolate, such as icing, glaze and butter, can also be melted and maintained at a selected temperature so they are ready to use. First and foremost, Krea Swiss melters are for melting and maintaining a set temperature but manual chocolate tempering is possible via the seeding method.
